Shame the culprit

Is ignorance really a bliss? Or turning blind eye towards a happening is the only way to survive in this world?

Rape is a heinous crime. I don’t understand why someone needs to force anyone to have a sexual intercourse. Isn’t there something called consent? Why a country known for it’s traditions have people who are doing this heinous crime. I am not saying that it should happen elsewhere. But, when will the line be drawn. When will it stop. Disgusted that rapist exist. We need to shame them😡😡 and give stringent punishments to anyone who stoops so low to commit such a crime😑😥😡

  1. Its a blot on the mankind. Respect for a body should be inculcated in our children from the childhood itself. And I also feel that no amount of stringent law will ever be able to curb it. The civil society and its members have to cleanse this menace.

    1. I feel until unless there is an implementation of a law it would continue. In India, we have laws but it takes time to get justice. If we are sure people have done a crime and there is enough evidence, I don’t think they deserve to be given any chance to prove their innocence. They should get fair trial but when we know they are at fault. I don’t think they deserve a chance to get the verdict changed

      1. I know wishing for it to never happen is too idealistic. But, I just hope that the incidents reduce and people appreciate the victims rather than shaming them

  2. sorry i don’t know your name, but a very sensitive topic.i think when a rape happens the person who rapes maybe under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The thing which i really can’t understand is most rapists are married people.
Also i believe how a person thinks about sexual intercourse also matters.it has to be viewed as a pleasurable thing given by god to mankind for making babies through marriage.

    1. Call me Scribledree 😊and well, a person who rapes has complete knowledge of his act, there are instances in which he is under influence of drugs or alcohol but in most cases they have knowledge. A rape is a rape even if it is done under influence or when they aren’t in any influence.
Secondly, having intercourse before or after marriage is entirely upto the parties involved. All I care in it is regarding the consent of both the parties. Even, if I assume that a person is married they can’t force themselves on their wives. Marital rape is also wrong. So, in short if both the individuals involved have to give consent then it’s fine. But, no one should be forced into it.

  3. you mean husband raping a wife?it is a confusing thing.
The reason i said married people is because i just guessed the reason is not because they are deprived of this since they are married.

    1. Yup I also included it and well, married people also do it. Its not something done because of any deprivation. It’s sole reason is because people have no shame and control on themselves. In plain and simple language It is disgusting. They are disgusting for doing it.

    1. I guess art. 14 has much more significance in our lives than a Bible or a other religious text. We all are governed by law much more then our personal religious texts and the law states we all are equal irrespective of our gender 😊

  4. why do you people insist so?why you wanna be equal? After marriage husband goes out for work and brings things for cooking.wife stays at home.Imagine how lovely 😛

    1. No. We are equal and we deserve it. If a woman is comfortable with it by all means she may choose that. But you can’t just push forward your decision on her. She has a right to choose and I personally don’t choose to rely on someone. I am capable enough actually more then enough to look after myself. So I don’t think that any other person has a right to choose what I should be like and we are equal. We are not insisting that. It is our right

    1. I won’t have given up ever. It’s our right I won’t back down when I am not at wrong. If you would have continued to debate, I would have made you read art.14,15 as well as articles related to religious nature to prove it wrong even going to the extent to substantiate the same through a proper research. 😁 I am very emotional about women related issues and I don’t back down😁 I hope this changed your perspective about a woman. She deserves equality

    1. Well, Il just ask you to be in our shoes and see what it feels like when a guy tells us what to do or not to do or be and not to be. You will surely understand it then. But, for that you need to keep your mind open without any bias and really genuinely think from our position

    1. Il say it’s your problem and what a girl wear has nothing to do with this post. A 5 Year old is also raped,at the same time a 60 year is also raped. If you get provoked by a child of that age then il say that the guy needs a doctor

    2. Don’t just say for the sake of saying. All of us are humans. The woman who gave birth to u was a female. So you can’t be superior because your existence is associated with a woman always

      1. Dude you may follow any religion. It is your personal opinion but remember a woman is the one who gave birth to me you and everyone else. Treat her equally not because she needs it but because she deserves it.

    1. See I m not here to convince you why we are equal. But, since you are an Indian all i will say is if you treat a woman unequally you will be hit by article 14 that is our fundamental rights and you can be punished. There are too many generations thinking themselves to be superior than us. We need people of our generation to keep an open mind and not see woman to be made only for cooking and taking care of children purposes. Let us decide what we are capable of don’t make judgments based on personal assumptions. We may fail miserably but it would be our decision. Don’t be our parents we already have them😁🤗

  7. Rape is a heinous crime and its not only cause of lust or desperation. Two primary causes of them would be Male thinking they are essentially superior to the female ( which is absurd as we all evolved from Primates.. equally), and the second being lack of consequences, the laws are strict but not strict enough, adding to that is how slow our government is, justice is a future when both parties, the victim and the abuser are both either dead or dont care anymore.

  8. Rape is crime that happens across the globe. And the there is no logical explanation why certain men do such heinous crimes. Perhaps, it has to do with some misconceptions where some men think they are superior to women. And some are just trying to satisy their perverted need by any means possible.

Such crimes will only stop, when all men are taught to respect women as fellow human beings and taught to live by the rules and law. These misplaced beliefs of superiority need to be ironed out from the young minds, so they grow up to become responsible human beings.

Great post. And I happened to see that you’ve already dealt with a conversation with a guy rather tactfully and maintained your logic throughout. I applaud your patience and willingness to stick by your beliefs and principles. You’ve surely made an admirer out of me! Cheers 🙂
